Apply in confidence →Well-established national employment law practice is seeking an experienced employment litigation associate to join its Nashville office. The role focuses on defending employers in a wide range of workplace disputes and administrative matters, including individual and class/collective litigation, discrimination, retaliation, wage-and-hour, non-compete and related employment torts.
Responsibilities include managing litigation from pleading through trial and appeal, handling agency charges and investigations, representing clients in mediation and arbitration, and counseling and training employer clients on workplace policies and risk mitigation. The team provides collaborative, business-focused advice to employer clients across industries.
- Juris Doctor from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic record
- Minimum 5 years of litigation experience; background in employment/labor law strongly preferred
- Active Tennessee bar admission in good standing
- Experience with state and federal employment agency procedures and defending employment claims in court
- Excellent written and oral advocacy, strong organizational and project management skills, and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced practice
