Employment & Trade Secret Litigation Associate — Washington, D.C.

An elite law firm's Employment & Trade Secret group is seeking a litigation associate with 2–5 years of experience for its Washington, D.C. office. The practice combines management-side employment litigation with day-to-day counseling for fast-growing technology companies.

The role involves litigating employment matters — including non-compete covenants and trade secret disputes — and advising clients on the full spectrum of employment issues: terminations, leaves of absence, internal investigations, reductions in force, and policy review and drafting.

The associate will also support employment-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions. Weekly in-person attendance in the D.C. office is expected.

• 2–5 years of management-side employment law litigation and counseling experience
• Experience with non-compete covenants and trade secret disputes
• Experience advising technology companies on employment matters
• Familiarity with employment issues in M&A and corporate transactions
• D.C. Bar membership preferred
• Excellent academic credentials and strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills
