Foreign‑Qualified Lawyer — Intellectual Property (Tokyo)

An established Tokyo office is seeking a foreign‑qualified lawyer (non‑Japan qualified) to join its busy intellectual property team. The role will involve advising on a range of IP matters, working closely with Japan‑based attorneys, patent attorneys and international colleagues across the firm’s regional offices.

The team handles cross‑border IP work and values clear communication, responsiveness and the ability to collaborate with mixed legal and technical teams. This is a hands‑on role that will suit candidates who want to contribute substantive IP expertise within a multidisciplinary practice.
