Apply in confidence →We are seeking a senior associate to join our Government Contracts and National Security practice groups in our Washington, DC office. This role offers the chance to work on complex matters within a dynamic, nationally prominent firm.
Ideal candidates will have five or more years of experience in government contracts, with a strong background in transactional support (including M&A and structured investments), facility security clearances and FOCI analyses, regulatory counseling, and a range of compliance and negotiation matters. Experience with small business set-aside programs, SBIR/STTR awards, rights in technical data and software, cybersecurity/CMMC compliance, and drafting prime contracts, subcontracts, and teaming agreements is preferred.
We are looking for someone who can manage multiple short-deadline assignments while delivering high-quality, thoughtful work, and who brings excellent writing skills and strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school.
Compensation: The expected annual pay range for this position is $365,000+ (final offer dependent on geographic location, experience, and skillset).

- 5+ years of government contracts practice experience, including transactional and counseling work
- Experience with DCSA facility security clearances and FOCI analyses
- Knowledge of small business set-aside programs, SBIR/STTR awards, rights in technical data/software, and cybersecurity/CMMC compliance
- Strong drafting skills for prime contracts, subcontracts, and teaming agreements
- Excellent writing and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple short-deadline projects
- High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
