High Tech Intellectual Property Associate (Patent Litigation)

A leading international firm is seeking a mid-level Intellectual Property associate to join its patent litigation team in New York. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-technology patent disputes within a collaborative practice that sits alongside a broad corporate platform.

The role focuses on patent litigation, including district court matters, and involves hands-on work through all phases of a case. Experience practicing before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board is a strong plus. Candidates will work with technically trained colleagues and clients across a range of technology-driven industries.

Candidates should bring a technical background in electrical or computer engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a similar field, along with a proven record of patent litigation experience. Strong academic credentials and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills are essential.

• 3–6 years of patent litigation experience (or JD 2020–2023 equivalent)
• Technical background in electrical/computer engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a similar field
• District court litigation experience required; PTAB practice experience strongly preferred
• Patent Bar admission
• Superior academic credentials and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
