Established national insurance-defense practice is seeking an attorney to join its Denver litigation team handling insurance coverage and extra-contractual/bad-faith matters. The role focuses on complex contested litigation in state and federal courts involving first- and third-party property & casualty, professional liability, uninsured/underinsured motorist, life, health and disability coverage disputes.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing caseloads, developing and executing discovery plans, taking and defending depositions, preparing case assessments, and drafting high-quality pleadings and motions. Candidates must be admitted to practice in Colorado and able to work independently across multiple matters while producing consistent, high-quality work product.

Minimum 3 years litigation experience handling insurance coverage and extra-contractual (bad-faith) matters
Experience with Colorado first- and third-party P&C coverage, professional liability, UIM/UM, and life/health/disability claims
Proven ability to manage litigation: discovery planning, depositions, case evaluations, and drafting motions and pleadings
Strong legal research and writing skills and reliable time management across multiple matters
Licensed and admitted to practice in Colorado
