Top-tier national law firm seeks an Insurance Recovery Associate to join its Insurance Recovery and Counseling practice in Washington, D.C. The role focuses on representing corporate policyholders in complex coverage disputes, including litigation and arbitration, and advising clients on recovery strategy across a range of commercial insurance products.

The position offers substantive responsibility and client contact: drafting coverage analyses and briefs, managing discovery and motion practice, coordinating with insurers and brokers, and supporting hearing/trial preparation. You will work collaboratively with experienced insurance recovery attorneys in a team-oriented practice.

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in insurance recovery, coverage litigation, or policyholder-side counseling
Experience representing policyholders in coverage disputes, litigations, and/or arbitrations
Strong legal research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the applicable state bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly)
