An established State and Local Policy & Regulation practice group is seeking an insurance regulatory associate with 1–5 years of experience to join its team. The role may be based in one of several Texas offices.

The position offers hands-on regulatory work with significant client contact and responsibility. Primary duties include conducting legal research, drafting legal memoranda and opinion letters, communicating with regulators, preparing contracts, analyzing insurance-related agreements, attending hearings and meetings, reviewing due diligence materials, and preparing regulatory filings.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative, high-performance team grounded in mutual respect and teamwork, with a strong commitment to client service and attention to detail.

1–5 years of transferable experience at a law firm or insurance regulatory agency
Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance regulatory law
Licensed to practice and in good standing in Texas
Excellent research, written and verbal communication skills
Superb attention to detail, organization and multi-tasking ability
