A leading international law firm is seeking a midlevel associate to join its International Trade practice. The role supports and expands a growing US export controls, tariffs, and CFIUS team, offering exposure to sophisticated regulatory work for a diverse client base.

Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese is a plus.

At least 2–3 years of experience in export controls administered by the Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls
Experience in customs law, including entry, classification, and valuation, and other matters within the jurisdiction of U.S. Customs and Border Protection
Additional experience with economic sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control and/or trade remedy investigations under U.S. antidumping, countervailing duty, and safeguard laws is preferred
Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese is a plus
