International Trade Associate — Compliance & Regulatory — Washington, D.C.

Midlevel associate role in a national international trade practice, focused on U.S. export controls, tariffs, CFIUS-related work and customs matters. The team advises clients across regulatory, transactional and government-facing matters.

This position will support and expand work on export control regimes and customs compliance, and will have opportunities to assist on related sanctions and trade-remedy matters. The team values collaboration and offers hybrid working arrangements.

• 2–3 years' post-qualification experience in international trade, export controls, customs, or related regulatory practice
• Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese
• Experience with BIS/ITAR export controls and/or customs law (entry, classification, valuation)
• Preferred: exposure to OFAC sanctions and/or antidumping/countervailing duty investigations
