Top-tier US law firm is seeking an Investment Funds associate to join its Investment Funds group. The role is open across multiple US offices (Austin, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.) and will support a sophisticated, market-leading funds practice on domestic and cross-border matters.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of private funds experience advising on formation and operation of private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds, as well as investments into those funds. Strong experience on secondary transactions (sponsor- and investor-side) is particularly valued; experience with separately managed accounts and carry vehicles is a plus.

3–6 years post-qualification experience in private funds (associate level)
Experience advising on fund formation, operation, and investments (domestic and international)
Demonstrated experience on secondary transactions (sponsor- and/or investor-side)
JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice in the hiring jurisdiction
Strong drafting, client-facing skills, and ability to manage competing priorities
Experience at an AmLaw 100 or similar large law firm preferred
