Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academics
Registered and in good standing with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
Admission to the state bar where position is based or eligibility for admission
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering; electrical engineering drafting experience preferred
2–4 years patent prosecution experience, with drafting and prosecuting experience across mechanical and electrical subject matter
Experience with prior-art searching, patentability/clearance analyses, and responding to office actions
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage a substantial docket
