Apply in confidence →Growing US litigation team seeks a 2nd–6th year associate to work on patent litigation and post-grant matters across multiple U.S. offices. The role involves client-facing advocacy, courtroom and deposition work, and active participation in case strategy from discovery through trial.
Work will include briefing and motion practice, fact and expert discovery on infringement, validity and damages, claim construction work, and support for pre-trial and trial activities. Candidates with technical backgrounds in electrical or mechanical engineering, computer science, or physics are especially valued.
- 2–6 years of patent litigation experience (U.S. District Court and PTAB/post‑grant proceedings preferred)
- Experience with depositions, discovery (fact and expert), claim construction briefing, and dispositive motion practice
- Comfortable with courtroom appearances and taking/defending depositions; able to work directly with clients and opposing counsel
- Undergraduate or master’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering, computer science, physics, or equivalent technical background preferred; ITC experience a plus
- Strong legal research and drafting skills and a record of academic achievement
