Top-tier intellectual property team is hiring a senior associate with a chemistry background to support patent prosecution and related IP work across multiple U.S. offices. The role involves drafting and prosecuting patent applications, preparing responses to patent office actions, and supporting opinions and litigation analyses under the supervision of experienced litigators and prosecutors.

Work will be collaborative and may include inventor interviews, patentability/freedom-to-operate searching, preparation of foreign filing instructions, and participation in special IP projects. The position is open to candidates across several U.S. offices (Boston, Denver, New York, Palo Alto, Washington, D.C.).

Applicants should be prepared to provide law school and science transcripts as part of the process.

Advanced degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or closely related field.
Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to practice; USPTO registration preferred or eligibility to register.
Experience in patent prosecution for chemical or life‑science technologies; litigation support experience a plus.
Strong drafting, technical analysis, and client-communication skills; ability to work collaboratively across offices.
