Issues & Appeals Associate

Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking an associate with 2–4 years of experience to join its Issues and Appeals practice group. This full-time, partnership-track position offers the opportunity to support a growing appellate practice.

• Appellate experience, including briefing and arguing appeals, is required.
• An appellate judicial clerkship is strongly preferred.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills are essential.
• The role may be based in any of the firm's offices in Washington, DC, Richmond, Austin, or Boston.
• Licensure in the applicable jurisdiction is preferred, and required within one year of joining.

• 2–4 years of appellate litigation experience
• Strong academic record
