Junior Associate - Corporate M&A, Perth

We are seeking a junior corporate associate to join a highly regarded, technology-focused transactional team based in Perth. The team works on a range of corporate matters, with a particular focus on M&A, private equity, and large-scale reorganisations, supporting offices across a global network.

You will work closely with partners and associates across multiple offices, acting as an extension of their teams on live transactions and other corporate and commercial matters. The role involves issue spotting, report writing, drafting, reviewing and amending documentation, document management, and legal research.

You will also collaborate with legal process improvement and legal technology teams to develop new solutions that help clients and support the integration of technology into the everyday work of the corporate team. Managing and liaising with internal and external clients to resolve queries and report on progress is a key part of the role.

• Qualified solicitor, with the ability to hold an Australian practising certificate
• Ideally 1–3 years post-qualification experience gained in private practice, an in-house legal team, or a commercial legal environment
• Experience in a corporate, M&A, commercial, or transactional legal environment
• Experience in due diligence, corporate transactions, private equity, reorganisations, company law advisory work, NDAs, or commercial contract negotiation will be highly regarded
• Experienced at managing competing priorities and coordinating complex matters
• Commercially minded, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment
• Genuine interest in legal technology, innovation, and improving the way legal services are delivered
