Junior Associate — Private Equity Debt Finance, Washington, DC

Growing Debt Finance team in Washington, DC seeks a junior associate with hands-on leveraged finance experience. The role focuses on transactions for private equity sponsors and lenders, including term and revolving facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and corporate growth matters.

Work will include reviewing, drafting and negotiating credit agreements, commitment papers and related collateral documentation. The group offers a collaborative, cross-practice environment and exposure to sophisticated financing work.

Relevant bar admission (or prompt eligibility) required.

• Experience representing private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders on leveraged finance transactions (term and revolving facilities)
• Hands-on experience with credit agreements, commitment papers and negotiating collateral and other finance-related documentation
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable firm experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; relevant bar admission or eligibility
