Apply in confidence →Leading international practice is seeking a junior to mid‑level associate to join a structured finance and derivatives team. The role is open to candidates in multiple U.S. offices (including New York, Charlotte and Los Angeles) and involves work on complex asset‑backed securitizations and related finance matters.
The team handles sophisticated, cross‑border transactions and looks for candidates who can take ownership of discrete workstreams, exercise strong judgment, and collaborate across practices. The role offers early responsibility, close partner interaction, and exposure to a range of structured finance products.
- 2–5 years' post‑qualification experience in structured finance, with demonstrated experience in asset‑backed securitization; exceptional candidates with more or less experience will be considered
- Relevant finance experience preferred (e.g. leveraged finance, asset finance, banking, project or fund finance, derivatives or tax)
- Membership in, or eligibility for admission to, the New York, North Carolina, or California Bar
- Strong organizational skills, excellent judgment, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school (U.S. lawyer applicants) and submission materials including resume/CV and law school transcript; cover letter encouraged
