Lateral Associate, Financial Services (Corporate)

Top-tier law firm is seeking lateral associates to join its Financial Services Group in New York or Washington, D.C. This role offers exposure to regulatory, capital markets and M&A matters for financial services industry clients and emphasizes hands-on training and cross-disciplinary work.

Associates will work as generalists across regulatory, M&A, capital markets, digital assets and fintech matters, gaining experience advising on novel legal and policy developments. The group prioritizes mentorship and development to prepare lawyers to serve as broad-based advisors.

• 2–5 years of post-qualification law firm experience (at least 18 months at a major law firm)
• Experience advising financial institutions or fintech firms on regulatory, capital markets and/or M&A matters
• Strong transactional drafting and project management skills; able to work across practice areas
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior lawyers and cross-functional teams
