Lateral Partner, Compliance & Regulatory (Environmental) — Washington, D.C.

Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Washington, D.C. compliance and regulatory team with a focus on environmental matters. The role will advise corporate and governmental clients on regulatory compliance, permitting, and environmental policy issues.

Ideal candidates will have a strong regulatory background with experience handling environmental review processes (CEQA experience desired), and a demonstrated ability to originate and manage client relationships. The partner will help grow a multidisciplinary practice and work closely with national teams on cross-jurisdictional matters.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Established partner-level experience in environmental regulatory practice
• Practical experience with environmental review and permitting processes (CEQA experience preferred)
• Proven ability to originate and maintain client relationships and lead deal/matter teams
