Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Energy & Environmental practice based in Milan. The role will focus on energy sector and infrastructure matters across Italy and internationally, advising project sponsors, investors and utilities on transactional and regulatory work.

The firm offers a location-agnostic arrangement with flexibility for hybrid or remote working. Compensation and partner evaluation are handled on a sliding scale and will reflect the candidate’s experience and portable practice.

Established partner or equivalent senior-level experience in energy, environmental or infrastructure work.
Proven transactional and regulatory experience in the energy sector; cross-border capability preferred.
Track record of originating and managing client relationships; a portable practice/book of business is advantageous.
Fluency in English and strong client-facing communication skills; Italian legal market experience required.
