Apply in confidence →Leading international disputes and finance practice is seeking a lateral partner to build and lead shipping and aviation asset-backed finance work across the Middle East, with primary coverage of the UAE and Saudi markets. The role combines transactional and enforcement work on asset-backed financings together with cross-border advisory and arbitration matters.
Ideal candidates will have deep sector experience (aviation, shipping and related energy or construction-backed assets), proven client relationships in the region, and the ability to originate and lead complex cross-border mandates. The team works closely with lenders, lessors and sponsors on financing structures and dispute resolution.
- Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
- Established partner-level track record in asset-backed finance (aviation/shipping preferred)
- Experience advising on cross-border financing and enforcement in the UAE and Saudi Arabia
- Specialist experience in international arbitration relating to shipping, aviation or related sectors (must be a specialist, not a generalist arbitrator)
