A leading international law firm is seeking a partner to join its Finance & Banking group, focusing on shipping and aviation asset finance across the Gulf region.

The role involves advising lenders, lessors, owners, and sponsors on asset-backed financings, leasing structures, and cross-border secured lending transactions, with significant exposure to the oil and gas and construction sectors.

The position is based across the firm's Dubai and Saudi Arabia offices, supporting a broad Middle East practice. The team is looking for a specialist who can lead on complex, multi-jurisdictional asset finance matters and contribute to the group's continued growth in the region.

Significant experience in shipping or aviation asset finance gained at a leading international or regional law firm
Qualification in a relevant jurisdiction with admission to practice
Proven expertise in asset-backed finance, secured lending, and leasing transactions
Experience of cross-border transactions in the Middle East, particularly the UAE and Saudi Arabia
Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
Specialist focus in asset finance or arbitration; generalist arbitration profiles are not suitable
