We are seeking experienced banking and finance lawyers to join our global platform for self-directed consultant lawyers. This is an opportunity to work on high-quality assignments, typically six months or more, either within our practice groups or directly with clients, with the full backing of a leading international law firm.

We are currently looking for lawyers with top-tier post-qualification experience in banking and finance, including leveraged finance, private credit / direct lending, fund finance, and project finance (4–10 PQE).

Recent opportunities in this area have included:

  • Supporting an investment bank’s legal team on leveraged finance, structured finance, funds financing, and fixed income special situations across EMEA.
  • Supporting a leading global alternative investment manager with the development of their direct lending strategy into the large cap space.

Successful applicants will have a minimum of two to four years' post-qualification experience (depending on practice area) at a law firm ranked as top tier for their area of expertise, and ideally recent in-house legal experience at a leading financial services institution or corporate (directly or as a secondee). You will have a consultant mindset, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven project management skills, and a practising certificate (or equivalent) entitling you to practise as a lawyer in the UK.

Please note: due to the nature of the consultant relationship, we are not able to sponsor visas. Applicants must have the right to reside and work in the UK.
