A leading law firm is seeking a highly qualified mid-level licensing associate to join its Life Sciences group in Silicon Valley. The role centers on intellectual property licensing, technology transfer, and other complex technology transactions within the life sciences sector.

The successful candidate will draft and negotiate IP licenses, joint development and collaboration agreements, strategic alliance arrangements, technology and services agreements (including SaaS), and distribution agreements. The position also involves providing IP and technology transaction support — including due diligence — on corporate transactions and technology transfers.

3–4 years of relevant experience in IP licensing, technology transfer, and technology transactions
Experience drafting and negotiating patent and trademark licenses, joint development, collaboration, and strategic alliance agreements
Experience with technology licenses, services agreements (including SaaS), and distribution agreements
Experience performing IP and technology transaction due diligence and supporting technology transfers
Ability to work in teams and independently manage substantial components of transactions
Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
