Litigation Associate — Construction & Insurance, New York

Seeking a litigation associate to join a US litigation team handling third-party property damage, construction-defense and general liability matters. The role involves hands-on case management across a busy docket and regular engagement with insurer clients.

Day-to-day responsibilities include taking depositions, attending hearings and mediations, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, preparing discovery and managing document review, and developing case strategy through trial or mediation.

• J.D. and active bar admission
• 1-3 years litigation experience, preferably with property damage, construction-defense, or general liability matters
• Experience taking depositions and preparing cases for hearings/mediations
• Strong legal writing, research (Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a caseload (typically ~20–25 matters) and prioritize multiple projects
