Medior Associate Tax

Our client, an international law firm based on the Amsterdam Zuidas, is seeking an experienced medior associate (5-6 years) to join its leading tax practice. Working in a close-knit team of tax lawyers and advisors, you will advise national and international clients on complex Dutch and cross-border tax matters.

Your casework will span M&A transactions, restructurings, and representation in tax proceedings, with access to specialist knowledge in areas such as international trade, customs and VAT, real estate transactions, and taxation of tech companies. You will collaborate with colleagues from other practice groups and with the firm's offices abroad, taking a proactive, commercially minded approach to finding robust and practical solutions.

The team offers a low-leverage model: you will work on major matters in small teams, gaining direct client contact and interaction with stakeholders such as the tax authorities. Requirements:

• Completed LL.M. in Tax Law
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in a commercial tax practice (law firm or advisory)
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• Self-starting, entrepreneurial, client-focused
• Accurate, pragmatic, strong communication skills
• Completed Bar Training Course (BA) is a plus
