Mid-Level Associate, Corporate M&A

Mid-level corporate M&A associate role in a national firm handling M&A and private equity transactions. The team works on a broad range of deals—purchase and merger agreements, corporate governance matters and related securities work—and offers exposure to sophisticated, cross‑border and domestic transactions.

Candidates will join a collaborative practice and can be based in one of several U.S. offices (including Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Raleigh or Winston‑Salem). The role involves supporting and managing transaction processes through to closing and working closely with partners and deal teams.

• Minimum 3 years' transactional M&A experience in a law firm setting
• Experience with private equity transactions and M&A document drafting (purchase agreements, merger agreements, ancillary documents)
• Proven ability to manage due diligence, coordinate closings and support complex deals
• Familiarity with corporate governance principles and federal securities laws
• Strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills
