An established litigation practice group in Birmingham has an immediate opportunity for a mid-level associate with 3–5 years of transferable experience. This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted practice handling commercial, regulatory, and general litigation matters.

The role involves significant litigation procedure work, including drafting motions and managing discovery in complex cases. The associate will work directly with clients and opposing counsel and will be part of a highly experienced team including partners, senior counsel, and associates.

3–5 years of transferable litigation experience
Significant experience with litigation procedure, including drafting motions
Experience managing discovery in complex cases
Exceptional academic background
Excellent research and writing skills
Ability and desire to interface directly with clients and opposing counsel
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Deep commitment to client service and community involvement
Ability to multi-task and prioritize matters effectively
Must be licensed to practice law in Alabama
Must reside in the Birmingham, AL area at or prior to hire
