A leading law firm is seeking mid-level to senior associates to join its international trade practice in Washington, DC. The team represents companies across a wide range of industries, including consumer products, technology, energy, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, defense, and manufacturing.

The role involves counseling clients on economic sanctions and export controls, as well as advising on transactions before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).

The firm is looking for a self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong analytical abilities and proven research and writing skills are essential. Candidates must be admitted or eligible to seek prompt admission to the District of Columbia Bar.

At least 4 years of experience advising clients on economic sanctions and export controls
Experience supporting transactions before CFIUS
