Mid-Senior Corporate M&A Associate

A national M&A practice is seeking mid-to-senior level associates with at least three years of experience to join its sophisticated and growing team. The role involves advising public and private companies, strategic investors, and private equity sponsors on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including some of the most high-profile and innovative deals in the market.

Working alongside market-leading practitioners, associates will draft and negotiate transaction documents, manage diligence processes, and execute mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. Experience with public and private company M&A, federal securities laws, and/or Delaware corporate law is preferred, and experience representing technology and life sciences companies is a plus.

Candidates should be confident leading workstreams and serving as a key point of contact for clients and deal teams, and should demonstrate the ability to integrate evolving legal technologies into their practice. The role offers the opportunity to work independently, collaborate across offices and practices, and contribute to the development of junior lawyers in a fast-paced team environment.

This position is open to candidates in multiple U.S. offices, with a preference for Silicon Valley, Boston, Denver, and New York. The expected base salary range is $260,000 to $390,000 per year, with eligibility for additional compensation including annual performance-based and discretionary bonuses, and firm-sponsored benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

• 3+ years of M&A experience
• Experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents and managing diligence processes
• Experience with public and private company M&A, federal securities laws, and/or Delaware corporate law preferred
• Experience representing technology and life sciences companies a plus
• Outstanding academic credentials and excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of practice
