Midlevel Technology Transactions Associate — Seattle

Seeking a midlevel associate to join a large international law firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Transactions team in Seattle. The role focuses on transactional matters involving technology and IP across commercial agreements, product development, licensing, and SaaS/hardware arrangements.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced lawyers, receive active mentoring, and take on increasing responsibility. The team advises on IP protection, commercialization, and related regulatory issues such as data protection, privacy, and security.

• 1–4 years' transactional experience with technology/IP matters
• Direct experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (product development, licensing, manufacturing, resale, supply, customer agreements, SaaS and services)
• Familiarity with IP protection, commercialization issues, and data protection/privacy compliance preferred
• Strong academic record, excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to work independently and in teams
