Our Phoenix office seeks an experienced employment litigation attorney licensed in both Arizona and California to join our dynamic, long-established practice representing premier local and national employers. This is a unique opportunity to become part of our California PAGA, class, and collective action litigation team, as well as our California single-plaintiff litigation team, all based in Phoenix.

In this collegial, in-person environment, you will benefit from robust mentoring and customized business development training while assuming a significant role in all aspects of labor and employment law. The role involves extensive client contact and interaction with governmental agencies and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Performing legal research and drafting memoranda, motions, and pleadings
Attending court conferences and handling discovery-related activities and investigations
Drafting position statements and dispositive motions
Counseling clients on a wide range of employment-law matters

The ideal candidate will have a passion for employment law, strong analytical and writing skills, and the ability to relate to and inspire confidence with sophisticated business clients. Active license to practice law in both Arizona and California
Significant experience in employment litigation, including class and collective actions
Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
Ability to handle all phases of litigation, from pleadings through discovery and dispositive motions
Excellent client counseling and communication skills
Experience with California PAGA and/or single-plaintiff matters is a plus
