Leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Antitrust & Competition team in Brussels. The role will handle EU and Belgian competition matters across merger control, cartel defence and regulatory work, working with a mix of local and cross-border mandates.

This is a senior hire: the team is looking for a market-facing lawyer who can lead complex matters, develop client relationships and contribute to a growing practice. The position offers a platform within a well-established international practice and close collaboration with colleagues across jurisdictions.

Established partner or senior counsel with deep experience in EU/Belgian antitrust and competition law
Track record of leading merger control filings, investigations or cartel/abuse matters
Proven ability to originate or bring a portable practice and develop client relationships
Fluency in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch advantageous
Eligibility to practise in Belgium or ability to satisfy local regulatory requirements
