Leading German law firm seeks a Partner to head and expand its Compliance & Regulatory practice within the Finance team in Dusseldorf. The role focuses on advising banks, financial institutions and corporate clients on regulatory matters, cross-border compliance issues and regulatory-driven transactions.

The successful candidate will take a visible client-facing leadership role, manage and mentor a small team of lawyers, and collaborate with other practice groups on transactional and regulatory mandates. Strong business development capability and a portable practice are important for this hire.

Established partner-level experience in regulatory compliance and finance law, with experience advising banks or financial institutions.
Proven client-development track record and ability to bring or grow a portable practice.
Qualified to practise in Germany (or equivalent EU qualification) with excellent German and strong English language skills.
Leadership experience, including team management and cross-practice collaboration on complex, cross-border matters.
