Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join and grow its energy and environmental practice in Madison. The role will focus on regulatory counseling and transactional and litigation matters arising under federal and state environmental laws.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience with EPA-related regulatory work and a track record advising clients in the energy sector. The team handles matters spanning permitting, compliance, enforcement defense and transactional due diligence.

We welcome partners with a portable practice or demonstrable business-development ability to expand regional market presence.

Partner-level experience in energy and environmental law, including EPA or analogous regulatory experience
Proven record of counseling clients on permitting, compliance, enforcement defense and transactional environmental issues
Demonstrable business development skills or a portable practice
Active bar admission and JD (or equivalent legal qualification)
