Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Finance & Banking practice in Wilmington. The role focuses on advising banks, lenders and corporate borrowers on a range of commercial lending and finance matters.

The successful candidate will take a senior hands-on role in originating and executing finance transactions, mentoring junior lawyers, and helping grow the regional practice. A portable practice or demonstrated ability to develop client relationships is welcome.

Established partner-level experience in banking and finance transactions (syndicated loans, asset-based lending, acquisition finance and related documentation).
Proven track record of originating and managing client matters and leading deal teams.
Business development skills and appetite to grow a regional finance practice; portable client relationships are welcome.
Excellent drafting, negotiation and client-facing skills; ability to mentor associates and contribute to practice management.
