Leading regional law firm is seeking a lateral partner to strengthen and lead its Insurance & Reinsurance practice in Abu Dhabi. The role will focus on acting for insurers, reinsurers and other market participants on contentious and non-contentious matters across the United Arab Emirates and the wider region.

The successful candidate will have a track record of originating and managing client relationships and will play a key role in business development and team leadership. This is a partner-level opportunity with scope to build a portable practice in the region.

Established partner with substantial experience in insurance and reinsurance matters (claims, coverage, reinsurance disputes and advisory work)
Proven client development record and ability to bring or grow a portable practice
Experience leading teams and managing matters across the UAE and wider Middle East
Qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction; admission or eligibility to practise in the UAE or regional jurisdictions preferred
