Apply in confidence →A lateral partner hire of this kind turns on what actually moves with you, more than on any single number.
An established international law firm is seeking a Partner to lead and grow its Maritime & Transportation practice in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering high-quality advice to regional and international clients across shipping, maritime regulatory and transport-related matters.
The successful candidate will split time between origination, client relationship management and supervising complex transactional and contentious work. This is a leadership role with responsibility for developing the practice and mentoring junior lawyers in the office.
- Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
- Proven partner-level experience in maritime and shipping matters (transactional and/or contentious)
- Strong commercial origination and client relationship record in the Middle East region
- Qualified to practise in a recognised common-law jurisdiction; experience in Dubai/UAE market strongly preferred
Where the match is not obvious from the description, a conversation is still worth having — partner briefs move with the candidate.
