Partner — Tax & Litigation, Sacramento

Leading national law firm is seeking a partner to join its Sacramento office to lead and grow its tax controversy and litigation practice. The role combines courtroom and trial work with sophisticated tax advisory and dispute representation before administrative bodies and courts.

The successful candidate will take a senior role on client matters, mentor junior lawyers, and work with cross-practice teams on complex, multi-jurisdictional issues. A portable practice or demonstrable business development capability is welcome.

• Established partner with substantial experience in tax controversy and litigation.
• Proven trial and courtroom experience and familiarity with administrative tax proceedings.
• Strong client development skills and ability to lead matters and mentor teams.
• Active admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction (California preferred) or ability to obtain admission.
