A leading global law firm seeks a patent agent to join its Intellectual Property practice in Washington, DC, focusing on patent counseling and prosecution within the technology sector.

The role centers on preparing and prosecuting patent applications, advising clients on patent strategy and portfolio management, and supporting technology-driven innovation across a range of technical fields.

You will work alongside an established IP team, engaging directly with clients on patent counseling matters and contributing to the growth and stewardship of patent portfolios.

• Registration as a patent agent before the USPTO
• Experience in patent preparation and prosecution, ideally within technology-related fields
• Strong technical background relevant to technology patent work
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and client-communication skills
