A leading international law firm is seeking a junior to midlevel patent prosecution associate to join its growing life sciences intellectual property practice. The role is available across multiple U.S. offices and offers the chance to work on sophisticated matters at both the local and national level in a highly supportive, collaborative environment.

The position involves U.S. and foreign patent office practice, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications, as well as opinion work, due diligence, licensing, litigation support, and client counseling on a variety of life sciences projects.

At least 2 years of patent prosecution experience, preferably with life sciences clients
Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications
Advanced degree in biology, chemistry, or a biotechnical discipline
Admission to the USPTO
Excellent academic credentials
