Apply in confidence →Join an established national IP practice as a mid-level Patent Prosecution Associate. The role supports sophisticated patent prosecution work across advanced computing technologies, with a particular emphasis on AI and machine‑learning related inventions.
Positions are open across multiple U.S. offices, including San Francisco, Palo Alto and New York, with additional opportunities in Washington, D.C., Dallas, Houston, Denver and Orange County. You will work on patent drafting and prosecution for large corporate clients under partner supervision and have opportunities for professional development within a high‑profile IP group.
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Degree in Computer Engineering (required).
- Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
- 2–5 years of relevant patent prosecution experience; ideally 3+ years drafting and prosecuting patent applications for advanced computing/AI technologies.
- Experience with technologies such as medical devices, semiconductors, integrated circuits, fintech, cybersecurity, networking, cloud computing or related software systems preferred.
- Strong technical analysis, written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.
