Private Companies Associate — Corporate

Seeking a 3rd–6th year associate to join a national private companies team, focused on advising emerging and growth-stage companies and their investors. The role is open to lawyers in multiple U.S. offices, including Washington, D.C. and Reston, VA.

Work will center on counseling venture-backed companies through their growth cycle, including venture capital financings and liquidity events, and supporting a busy deal flow alongside a growing corporate practice.

The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and an expected annual pay range of $260,000–$390,000 (final offers dependent on location and experience).

• 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law
• Substantial experience counseling early-stage and growth-stage companies, including venture capital financings and liquidity events
• Background in a national or international law firm corporate department
• Strong academic record from a nationally recognized law school
