Private Companies Associate (3rd–6th Year)

A leading national law firm is seeking a 3rd–6th year associate to join its elite private companies team in Washington, DC or Reston, Virginia. The role involves advising disruptive, venture-backed companies and the investors that fund them.

This is an opportunity to join a growing national team working with some of the most prominent high-growth companies and their investors. The successful candidate will counsel clients through their full growth cycle, including venture capital financings and liquidity events.

The expected annual pay range for this position is $260,000–$390,000, with final offer dependent on geographic location, experience, and skillset. • 3–6 years of corporate experience at a national or international law firm
• Extensive experience advising early-stage and growth-stage, venture-backed companies on general corporate matters
• Deep experience with venture capital financings and liquidity events
• High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
• Strong counseling and advisory skills with emerging and growth companies and their investors
