Our client, a national law firm, is seeking a Private Wealth Associate with four to eight years of experience to join its Financial Services & Capital Markets practice group. This role offers the flexibility of multiple office locations, including a virtual office option, with a preference for candidates in several major U.S. markets.

The ideal candidate will bring sophisticated experience in estate planning and drafting, trust and estate administration, estate and gift tax, and charitable planning. Prior law firm experience is required. You will collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex private wealth matters.

We are looking for a proactive, dynamic attorney with excellent academic credentials, superior interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects under pressure. Strong judgment and the ability to articulate legal strategies are essential. An active bar license in the state of the office you apply to, or a commitment to obtain one promptly, is required.

We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k), and are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive team culture.

For positions in certain states (CA, CO, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, WA, DC), the compensation range is $230,000–$275,000; in MN and VT, it is $215,000–$275,000, commensurate with experience. Associates are eligible for performance and client development bonuses.

To apply, please submit a resume and law school transcript through the client's online application portal.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active bar license in the state of the office you are applying to, or a commitment to obtain one as soon as possible
  • Four to eight years of law firm experience in private wealth, with a focus on sophisticated estate planning, trust and estate administration, estate and gift tax, and charitable planning
  • Excellent academic credentials and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure
  • Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to handle multiple projects effectively
  • Strong judgment and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action
