A leading law firm's Real Estate team in its Chicago office is seeking outstanding lateral candidates to work on a broad range of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.

The role covers joint ventures, real estate M&A and private equity transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, financings, fund formation, and leasing. The team advises on transactions around the world involving the purchase, sale, co-investment, construction, financing, development, leasing, management, and operation of real property across the full spectrum of asset classes, including office, multifamily, single-family, industrial, logistics, hospitality, data centers, and retail.

Candidates should be admitted to practice law in Illinois. The starting base salary for this position is expected to be between $310,000 and $455,000 annually, determined based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors, and the position may be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.

Actively practicing in a sophisticated commercial real estate practice, ideally at a peer firm.
High level of academic achievement.
Admitted to practice law in Illinois.
Class of 2022 or later (mid to senior level).
Experience across joint ventures, real estate M&A and private equity transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, financings, fund formation, and leasing.
