We are seeking a Senior Associate to join a market-leading Banking and Future Energy team, working on a full-time, flexible basis. This is an opportunity to advise on the full spectrum of clean energy finance transactions, including construction and operational project financing, development financing and acquisition facilities, through to mezzanine holdco financings, across all renewables and renewables-adjacent technologies.

The team is an integral part of a wider Future Energy sector group and works closely with colleagues across construction, real estate, commercial and regulatory practice areas, supported by a specialist clean energy due diligence team. You will advise a broad range of sponsor and lender clients on complex, high-profile matters in the UK energy sector, including first-of-a-kind projects and evolving regulatory frameworks.

Qualified Solicitor with 4–7 years' PQE
Genuine experience, enthusiasm and market knowledge in project finance and the energy sector
Excellent drafting skills, with confidence to lead and supervise drafting and negotiation of key finance documents
Motivated, intellectually curious and keen to develop a long-term practice in the energy sector
Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
Commercially aware with some exposure to business development and maintaining client relationships
Collaborative approach and ambition to assist in developing junior team members
