A growing Court of Protection team seeks an experienced Solicitor to manage a busy, varied caseload for clients who lack capacity. The role involves deputyship and personal injury trust work, including acting for professional deputyships and advising on trusts to protect damages from means‑testing.

Day‑to‑day duties include litigating and settling substantial matters alongside personal injury colleagues, drafting Court of Protection applications and deputy reports, managing files and billing, and liaising sensitively with clients, families and external professionals.

The team operates a hybrid working model with an expectation of more time in the office than at home, and offers structured development, inclusive culture and a broad employee benefits package.

  • Qualified solicitor with 6+ years' post‑qualification experience (PQE) in Court of Protection work
  • Proven experience managing deputyship files and personal injury trust matters
  • Strong drafting skills (Court of Protection applications and deputy reports) and excellent client‑facing communication
  • Organised, able to manage competing priorities and comfortable working to deadlines
  • Good IT skills and a collaborative, team‑focused approach
