Senior Associate - Cyber

The firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its rapidly growing global cyber practice, working across its offices in London, Manchester, Bristol and Glasgow. The team handles the full lifecycle of cyber risk for clients through the Readiness, Respond and Recover phases, advising on some of the largest and most complex multi-jurisdictional security incidents.

The role involves working closely with partners on a wide range of cyber risk matters and collaborating with the global cyber team on cross-border incidents. Responsibilities include managing cybersecurity incidents, advising on data protection regulations including GDPR, and handling litigation connected to data breaches such as group actions and regulatory investigations.

• Minimum of 5 PQE, though all suitable candidates will be considered
• Strong litigation experience, ideally including technology and/or media disputes
• Previous cyber experience with a focus on breach response work
• Excellent technical legal skills, including drafting and strategy management
• Ability to manage and prioritise a full and varied caseload
• Passionate, driven, and determined with a real interest in technology and data issues
• Practising certificate required (per Solicitors Act 1974)
• Successful completion of a Training Contract (or equivalent) and relevant education (Legal Practice Course; Graduate Diploma in Law if non-Law Graduate; 2:1 honours degree or equivalent; A Levels)
