We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our market-leading Financial Institutions and Directors' & Officers (D&O) team in London. The global team advises insurers and reinsurers on all aspects of financial institutions and D&O insurance work, with a strong reputation for successfully defending claims and resolving the most complex, high-value coverage issues in the market.

The successful candidate will work on a broad range of high-profile and complex matters, acting for insurer clients on claims of all sizes, including some of the largest losses in the global insurance market.

England & Wales qualified solicitor (or equivalent common law qualification)
Significant post-qualification experience in Financial Institutions and/or D&O insurance work, ideally gained at a leading insurance or disputes practice
Strong experience advising insurer clients on complex claims and coverage issues
Experience of handling or supporting litigation, arbitration and mediation
A strong understanding of insolvency-related claims, regulatory investigations or financial misconduct matters is desirable
Excellent analytical, drafting and advocacy skills
Ability to manage complex matters and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, international environment
Strong client-handling skills and a commercial, solutions-focused approach
