Senior Associate, Insurance — Canberra

An established Australian insurance practice is hiring a Senior Associate to join its Canberra litigation team. The role offers exposure to a broad blue‑chip insurer and government client base handling public liability, historical abuse, Commonwealth workers’ compensation and CTP matters.

You will work on complex, contested files with regular opportunities to appear in ACT and NSW courts and relevant tribunals. The team is collaborative, supportive of career development and offers flexible arrangements including part‑time (minimum 3 days/week) or hybrid models.

• 5+ years' post‑qualification experience in insurance litigation (defendant-side experience preferred)
• Experience with general liability, CTP and/or historical abuse matters
• Proven courtroom/tribunal experience in ACT/NSW jurisdictions
• Demonstrated file management, drafting and mentoring skills
• Willingness to work flexibly (part‑time or hybrid arrangements considered)
