We are a global law firm with a focus on insurance, energy, trade & commodities, infrastructure, and transport.

We have an opportunity for a senior associate to join our Perth-based insurance and disputes practice. The role covers parental leave but is offered on a permanent basis. You will advise multinational corporations, insurers, reinsurers, Lloyd's underwriters, and financial institutions on commercial issues, disputes, and insurance coverage across property, construction, energy, professional indemnity, D&O liability, and public & products liability.

The practice has an international focus, working across sectors including construction & engineering, mining & resources, energy, financial services, telecommunications & IT, manufacturing, and hospitality & entertainment.

We are looking for an established Australian qualified lawyer with at least 4 years' PQE, with experience in some or all of the following:

Professional indemnity and D&O claims
Complex insurance coverage disputes
Infrastructure and construction claims
Property damage and business interruption claims
Product liability and recall claims

You will have excellent communication and time management skills, strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, commercial awareness, and confidence in developing client relationships. You should be able to lead, delegate, and foster a positive team environment.

Australian qualified lawyer with minimum 4 years' PQE
Experience in professional indemnity and D&O claims
Experience in complex insurance coverage disputes
Experience in infrastructure and construction claims
Experience in property damage and business interruption claims
Experience in product liability and recall claims
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management and prioritisation skills
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration, plus ability to work independently
Commercial awareness and ability to develop client relationships
